Incon Corporation Announces  NEW FUEL EFFICIENT PERLITE FURNACE LINE

Incon Corporation is pleased to introduce our new line of perlite furnaces, the "I" series.

There are many new features of the "I" series that merit mention; however, one of the more outstanding attributes is a REDUCTION IN ENERGY OF 20%, 30%, OR MORE compared to other perlite furnaces.

When installed and operated side-by-side with other furnaces and their operation compared, the other furnaces have been decommissioned or replaced.

Developed from ideas commercially tested at the end of 2004 the first Incon I-Series units, I-22s, were commissioned in late 2005.  In addition to the new features the Incon I-22 relied heavily on design and construction details long proven in the Incon "H" series of perlite furnaces.  The combination provides superior performance and fuel efficiency while maintaining the reliability and ease-of-service that can be found only in tested designs.

Like its predecessors, the Incon I-22 is a vertical perlite furnace designed within a single, monolithic, self-supporting outer tube.  It requires very little floor space and does not require additional supports.

Now standard, Incon systems are supplied with a new and innovative automatic control scheme implemented through the use of an industry leading PLC with touch-screen interface.  Optionally, all process variables including density can be automatically, monitored, controlled, and production reports generated.

The system can be shipped as loose components or can be shipped with a high degree of preassembly for quick installation. 

Incon is now in the process of incorporating these innovations into our other furnaces so that our entire perlite furnace line can provide the economies of yield and efficiency now demonstrated by the new Incon I-22.
